AC Drive Unit

Two larger taper roller bearings secure the drive unit in place and absorb the constant shocks and impacts. In addition, the brushless AC drive motor delivers powerful performance and superior reliability.

e–GEN® Braking

Benefit from Crown’s exclusive e-GEN braking system. The powerful torque of the AC motor delivers a consistently reliable frictionless maintenance-free service brake.

Power Unit Frame

A combination of roll-formed and fabricated plate steel plus six heavy-steel gussets make this frame the strongest in its class.

Fork Assembly

Crown’s “C” channel design using 5/16" fork metal and pull rod linkage system ensure strength and long life. A 30% increase in clearance at the fork heel provides unmatched protection—extending the life of the undercarriage.

X10® Handle

A durable handle and unique design for the thumbwheel and lift/lower buttons provides effortless blending of the lift/lower and travel functions.

Stability System

Two lift cylinders coupled with a torsion bar provide superior stability on lift gates, uneven surfaces and dock boards, even with off-center loads. The torsion bar ensures both forks carry the load forces equally, which extends the life of bushings and bearings.

Pallet Entry

The smooth, rounded fork tips are boxed-in and the fork linkages are adjustable for proper load wheel alignment. Fork tip indicators increase visibility for faster pallet entry.

Diagnostics and Serviceability

CAN communication link between the controller, display and X10 handle greatly simplifies wiring for enhanced reliability and improved diagnostics at startup and during truck operation. Maintenance is easier with Crown’s exclusive InfoPoint® system which allows technicians to trouble-shoot without schematics, wiring diagrams or service manuals for over 95% of repairs.
